Chinese phone manufacturer OPPO has announced a three-year partnership with the famous camera firm Hasselblad to develop camera technology for its flagship Find series.
Aspiring camera phone brand, OPPO, which is also well known for cloning Apple's look, features and UI/UX feel as closely as possible, even down to naming its latest smartphone the Find X, which shares obvious similarities with the iPhone X name, has launched two new models of its flagship Find X "camera phone".
With the latest flagship smartphones price from around $1500 to $1800 in Australia, Oppo hopes its Find X marks the spot with its big notchless display, pop-up camera and more, but there's no NFC, headphone jack, IP rating or wireless charging.
The iPhone X was criticised for its notch, but many major Android flagships now offer one, and while Oppo did launch its notchless Find X model last week, the R15 and Pro have landed in Australia first.
Although OPPO's R15 smartphone, unreleased in Australia, featured an iPhone X-like notch, its newest "Find X" flagship seeks to one-up Apple through slavish iPhone and iOS "inspiration".
